Basics of Automated Profiling
- Set-up and Optimise your initial product Oven Reflow Recipe Profile Using the KIC SPS as part of your New Product Introduction (NPI).
- This BASELINE Profile will be used by KIC’s Automatic Profiling Systems, so that when you are ready to build you only need to load the recipe and KIC will take care of the rest.

And for users with connected ovens and barcoded products, KIC’s AUTO-VP (optional) Feature can be enabled to Automatically change the oven recipe when a board reaches the oven.
This oven recipe checker reads the product barcode, checks for a match with the existing recipe and if it’s correct it is allowed into the oven.
If it doesn’t match the correct oven recipe for that product is automatically loaded via the 2-way oven-KIC communication and the board is held until the oven is stable (it can take up to 20-30 minutes for an oven to stabilise after changing a recipe).
Fully and Automatically eliminates products being run on the “wrong oven recipe” and removes this manual step from the operators “Product Change-Over” schedule.
