White Polyimide Thermal Transfer PCB  Barcode Labels

Polyimide materials, like Kapton, offer a very high tolerance to heat and harsh environments and are ideally suited to PCB Barcode Labelling.
Our Polyimide PCB Labels have a topcoat specifically designed to provide a highly durable printed label that’s suitable for all PCB and Component marking applications found in electronics manufacturing.
White Polyimide when printed with a durable resin ribbon provides a high contrast image that is extremely resistant to both heat (SMT Reflow Oven & Direct Wave Soldering) and also solvent/chemicals commonly found in all types of PCB cleaning systems.
Applications are therefore based around traceability; a label that travels with the PCB (or Component / Device) from the start of the PCB assembly process, through all soldering stages, automated and manual PCB cleaning and PCBA inspection stages.

PCB and component identification labelling; traceability, standard barcode labels (Code 39, Code 128 etc.), 2D barcodes (Data Matrix – Micro QR, QR, Aztec etc.) tracking, serial number, batch data / lot numbers / date coding.

Automation and Traceability of SMT lines require very small labels, miniature labels printed with 2D codes often less than 5mm, therefore automation of applying the labels is becoming more common – see Auto Apply Labels & Feeders for more information.
If you cannot find your ideal size (or colour) we hold many others sizes and materials in stock and can also make labels to fit any thermal transfer label printer.

We can print all common barcode symbology’s; 1D barcodes (like Code128) or 2D barcodes (like Data Matrix or QR Code) and the printed information can include human readable text, useful when moving away from traditional text only labels.
