Vacutek Professional Vacuum Heat Sealer for Electronic Components

The Vacutek vacuum heat sealer, produced in Italy by ITECO, was developed specifically to improve the handling of moisture sensitive devices in electronics manufacturing facilities.
As the most compact model in the Vacuum Heat Sealing range, it offers an economical, quick, and versatile way to vacuum seal bags of any length with a width up to 450mm.

ESD Safe

Typical vacuum heat sealers are unsuitable for this application because electronic devices are also highly sensitive to electrostatic discharge (ESD).
The Vacutek Heat Sealer complies with ESD standards and is safe to operate in Electronics Production Areas (EPAs).

Moisture Sensitive Devices (MSDs)

Moisture sensitive devices quickly absorb moisture from the air, therefore minimising exposure time by promptly repackaging them without air present will greatly extend their floor-life.

The Vacutek is a compact benchtop vacuum heat sealer designed for low to medium volume uses, including SMT component stores, device kitting, and specialised repackaging applications.
It provides an ideal solution for when you need to open a new batch of MSD packaged components, remove only what you need, and then reseal immediately.

It requires only a standard 13A socket and NO compressed air thanks to the powerful in-built vacuum pump.

Alternative Chamber Vacuum Heat Sealers are available for higher volume packaging applications.

Manual, Automated and Soft Seal modes

Manual, Automated and Soft Seal modes can be set for ease, repeatability and safe vacuum control of delicate parts.

The vacuum process begins when the vacuum jaws close around the open end of the bag, creating a seal that keeps the jaws securely in position until the optimum vacuum level is reached.
You can either set the sealing process to run automatically or operate it manually, adjusting the sealing time based on the thickness or type of bag material.

Safe Vacuum Option

To ensure the safe vacuum sealing of delicate and sensitive components, a SOFT vacuum option may be activated.
This feature helps prevent damage to critical devices and packaging materials, such as reels or trays, by restricting the maximum allowable vacuum.

ESD Moisture Barrier Bags (MBBs)

Our ESD moisture barrier bags (MBBs) are available in both 150um and 85um thicknesses for JEDEC-STD-033 & MIL-B-81705C Class 1 TC1 SBM356 standards.

HIC (Humidity Indicator Cards) and desiccant options are available dependent on the device level standards required.

Repackaging after baking

Our vacuum heat sealers can also work alongside a baking oven (drying oven) to first reset the floor-life of moisture sensitive devices, then allow you to repackage them in moisture barrier bags for storage.
